BJOPM is indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index!

Dear editors, authors and readers,

We from Brazilian Journal of Operations and Production Management are
pleased to inform that BJOPM is indexed in Emerging Sources Citation

The Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) was launched in late 2015 by
Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters) to bring together journals
in review process for inclusion in the so called Web of Science flagship
database (Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Sciences Citation Index,
Arts & Humanities Citation Index).

Today, the ESCI brings together a set of more than 6,000 journals from all
areas of expertise. All journals submitted for indexing in the Web of
Science are initially assessed for the ESCI and, if they meet the
requirements, are subsequently included in their core indexes.

The journals that integrate the ESCI are only accepted after a rigorous
process of analysis and selection, whose criteria include the fact that they
are reviewed by peers, follow ethical practices of publication, meet
technical requirements, have bibliographic information in English and are
recommended or requested by the academic/scientific public of Web of
Science’s users.

We would like to thank all of you who contribute in many ways to BJOPMs

We hope to continue growing and contributing more and more to
Brazilian and international scientific scenario.
